Questions
- Do guests need to install anything?
- No. It opens in whatever browser their phone already has. There is no app, no account and no sign-up for guests.
- Why not just send a PDF or an image?
- A PDF has to be downloaded and usually has to be zoomed to read on a phone. An image cannot hold a working map link or an RSVP button, and it cannot be corrected once sent. A link can be updated, and every guest sees the current version.
- How many people can we send it to?
- There is no limit from our side — it is one link, forwarded as many times as you like. WhatsApp's own forwarding limits apply to how many chats you can forward to at once, but anyone receiving it can forward it on.
- What does it look like when forwarded?
- WhatsApp shows a preview image and title rather than a bare link, so it reads as an invitation in the chat.
- Does it work on older phones?
- It is built to load on mid-range Android phones on a mobile connection, which is what most guests will be using.
