1. Our Commitment to Your Family's Privacy
At Nimantran (accessible from https://nimantran.online), we treat personal celebration details with the highest degree of respect and discretion. We design digital invitations for sacred milestones—weddings, Ganesh Chaturthi, milestone anniversaries, and family celebrations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your family data or guest contact lists to third-party advertisers.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
When you interact with Nimantran, we collect information in two distinct ways:
- Contact & Commission Inquiries: When you submit an invitation inquiry via our contact form or directly on WhatsApp, you provide your name/family name, WhatsApp phone number, email address, occasion type, event dates, and optional notes. This information is used to prepare your invitation preview, communicate design drafts, fulfil your order, follow up with you and ask for feedback afterwards (details in section 2.1 below).
- Orders & Payments: When you customize or confirm an invitation order, we collect essential customer contact details (name, WhatsApp mobile number, city, and optional email) and payment information (the payment reference and status from our payment partner PayU, or a UPI reference / UTR number if you pay by UPI QR, and the date of payment). Card, net banking and UPI credentials are entered only on PayU's own page and are never seen or stored by us. No customer accounts, passwords, or public profiles are ever created; access to your order is managed strictly via your private, encrypted order link.
- Website Usage Data (Anonymous): When you browse our storefront, we collect anonymous aggregate metrics (pages viewed, interaction with the interactive preview tool, templates inspected) to improve the website's performance and design experience.
2.1 What we collect when you contact us, order, or request a demo
- What: what you choose to send: your name, WhatsApp number, email (if given), city, occasion, the names on the invitation (for example the couple or hosts), date and time, venue, address and map link, list of events, chosen design and opening animation, the link to your invitation preview, your message, and payment verification details (such as UPI reference / UTR number if ordering). Along with it: the page you sent it from, language, campaign tag (UTM, if any), and the timestamp.
- When: only when you press the send or pay button next to the notice yourself. Nothing is sent while you type, open or scroll a page.
- Why: to prepare your demo or quotation, fulfill your invitation order, confirm payment, follow up by WhatsApp within a few days, and ask for your feedback or a review after your event.
- Where: Nimantran's own secure, encrypted database (MongoDB Atlas) with strict access control. Only the authorized Nimantran team can access it.
- How long: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or permanently delete your details at any time. Our studio platform includes immediate customer data erasure. Contact us on WhatsApp (+91 77309 83751) or through the contact form.
- We never sell or share it.
Free Demos & Autosave: when you personalize an invitation in our Studio or Save-the-Date tool, the celebration details (names, dates, venue, schedule) are automatically saved so your invitation link is ready to share and customize. Providing your own name and WhatsApp number is strictly optional.
Guest RSVPs: when your guests RSVP via your invitation page, their response (name, attendance, guest count, optional message and phone) is securely stored so that you—the host—can track who is coming through your private Host link. Guest phone numbers are never shown publicly.
Data Deletion on Demand: you can request instant permanent deletion of your demo invitation and all associated RSVPs at any time simply by messaging us on WhatsApp (+91 77309 83751).
2.5 Free Tools and Your Data
Our free celebration tools (Save-the-Date maker, Invitation Wording generator, Cost Calculator, Couple Hashtag generator, 2027 Festival Calendar, Guest List template, and Shagun UPI QR maker) work inside your web browser. We don't have a server that receives what you type into them.
What you type stays on your device unless you choose to send it, for example by submitting an optional enquiry form or opening WhatsApp. A Save-the-Date link carries your card details inside the link itself, so anyone you share the link with can read them; we keep no copy. UPI IDs and amounts in the Shagun QR tool are never sent to us. Our analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, described below) record how pages are used, such as which buttons are clicked, but are set up so the text you type in these tools is masked and not collected.
3. Analytics Technologies (Google Analytics 4 & Microsoft Clarity)
To understand how visitors discover and navigate our website, we may use the following standard, free measurement tools. They run only when we switch them on for the live site:
Measures aggregated traffic, bounce rates, and high-level conversion actions (e.g., clicking WhatsApp inquiry buttons or loading template previews). IP anonymization is enabled. We strictly configure GA4 never to accept personal names, phone numbers, or free-form host notes as event parameters.
Provides anonymous behavioral heatmaps and session replay to diagnose layout issues and broken links. Strict input masking is enabled: all form fields (names, phone numbers, emails, notes) are automatically masked and never recorded in session captures.
4. Cookies & Tracking Preferences
Our site uses first-party functional storage (such as remembering your chosen language preference between English and Hindi) and standard analytics cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to view our invitation templates or contact the studio.
5. Guest Data & DPDP Compliance
If a host shares guest details with us for an order (for example guest names for guest-list work agreed on WhatsApp):
- Strict Purpose Limitation: Guest names and phone numbers are used only to prepare that specific event's digital invitation for the host.
- No Cross-Marketing: We never add third-party guests to marketing broadcasts, promotional campaigns, or newsletters. Guest details are never shared with or sold to outside parties.
- Retention: We keep guest details only as long as needed for that invitation, and delete them when the host asks us to.
- Guest Deletion on Request: Any guest whose contact details were submitted may request immediate deletion of their record by contacting us on WhatsApp (+91 77309 83751) or through the contact form with their event reference.
6. Data Retention & Invitation Hosting
Invitation websites commissioned through Nimantran stay hosted for the period confirmed with you when you order. After this period, or earlier on the host's request, event data may be archived or removed.
