Rajasthani haveli illustration
Rajputana Dwaar is built around a moment every Marwari and Rajasthani family knows: the grand doors of the family haveli opening for a wedding celebration. The cover is painted as a pink sandstone courtyard with intricately carved jharokha balconies, fragrant marigold torans hanging from every arch, and a long indigo carpet printed with royal buti motifs leading to the mandap. Guests in pink, saffron and turquoise safas line the aisle.
Havelis in Shekhawati, Jodhpur and Bikaner were built by trading families around welcoming open courtyards, where weddings took place right at home for generations. That intimate heritage is why this design feels warm, personal and grounded rather than distant. It brings the warmth of your own ancestral courtyard dressed up for the biggest celebration of the family.
The inner screens use an arched mehrab frame adorned with a pair of peacocks, fresh marigold and rose garlands, fine mirror-work dots in the border, and a gentle row of glowing diyas at the foot. Long text such as a Ganesh vandana, the list of family elders or a detailed ceremonial programme sits cleanly and reads effortlessly.
It suits Rajasthani and Marwari families, and equally any North Indian family that appreciates warm architectural tones and rich cultural traditions without heavy metallic gold. Because every ceremony gets its own card, it accommodates a complete traditional programme: Vinayak sthapana, ban and pithi, mehendi, mayra, nikasi, pheras and the reception.
When guests open the link on WhatsApp, they first see your names framed across the courtyard, then a live countdown, the ceremony cards, 1-tap Google Maps directions for each venue, and an interactive RSVP. Elders can read everything in clear Hindi if you choose it.
